Fifth Biennial Caribbean Environmental Forum & Exhibition (CEF-5).
Montego Bay, Jamaica from 21 to 25 June, 2010
 

This year's theme " Coping with Copenhagen: Water, Waste, Energy, Health" emphasizes actions and strategies to address key Caribbean environmental issues, against the backdrop of climate change. This significant event will gather two Caribbean prime ministers, senior environmental experts, academics, and officials.

The GEF-funded IWCAM Project and Partnership Forum is sponsoring a live webcast of the following Sessions:

  Monday 21st June 6:00 - 7:30 pm The Opening Ceremony

Speakers include the Prime Minister of Jamaica, the Honorable Bruce Golding; Michele Depass, Assistant Administrator, United States, Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA); Dr. The Honorable Horace Chang, Minister of Water and Housing, Jamaica; Dr.Sharunda Buchannan of the US Centres for Disease Control.

  Tuesday 22nd June 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Plenary

Speakers include the Prime Minister of St. Lucia, the Honorable Stephenson King; The Honourable James Robertson, Minister of Energy of Jamaica; H.E. Ambassador Albert Ramdin, Assistant Secretary General of the Organisation of American States, and; Mrs. Angela Cropper, Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
