Workshop on the Logical Framework for fundraising projects, as well as a
Workshop on the indigenous womens participation in the political process.
On June 14-22, 2011, a new training course for
indigenous leaders and government officials who work
with indigenous peoples will be held in Antigua,
Guatemala. The event will feature a workshop on the
Logical Framework for fundraising projects, as well
as a workshop on the indigenous women's
participation in the political process.
A letter announcing the event was issued in
January of this year and scholarship candidates have
until April 22, 2011 to apply. Candidacies must be
presented by indigenous organizations or governments
of the following countries: Belize, Costa Rica, El
Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua,
and Panama. The Department of International Law
hopes to provide sufficient funding for three
scholarships per country.
