Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Secretary General Attends Tenth Conference of Defense Ministers of the Americas

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, traveled to Uruguay to take part in the Tenth Conference of Defense Ministers of the Americas, which is being held in the city of Punta del Este.
Within the framework of the event, Secretary General Insulza will hold bilateral meetings with the Defense Ministers of the OAS Member States who attend the meeting. During the opening session, Insulza will set forth his vision of what is the reality of military issues in the hemisphere today.
The meeting, to be held until Wednesday October 10, will be attended by delegations from 29 of the 34 member countries of the hemispheric forum.
