OAS Observation Mission in Paraguay Visited more than 300 Voting Centers

The members of the Electoral Observation and Political Accompaniment Mission of the Organization of American States (OAS) in Paraguay, headed by the former President of Costa Rica and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Óscar Arias, visited more than 300 voting centers in the 17 departments of the country and the capital for the general elections on Sunday.

The Mission has been in the country since February, when its members began to hold meetings with the various actors in the electoral process and to follow the organization of the elections. The final team was made up of 68 technicians and observers from various countries in the region.
