Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS General Assembly to be held October 5-7 in Lima, Peru

The 52nd General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS) will be held in Lima, Peru, from October 5 to 7 this year, the Permanent Council decided today.
The General Assembly is the supreme organ of the Organization of American States. All member states are represented by their delegations, generally headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The General Assembly is responsible for defining the mandates, actions, policies and mechanisms that the Organization implements throughout the year.
Peru previously hosted the main annual meeting of the OAS in 2010 and 1997.
