Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Secretary General Meets with Foreign Minister of El Salvador

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, today met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador, Jaime Miranda, in New York, in the context of the meeting of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, the two discussed the current political situation in the region and the Electoral Observation Mission the OAS will deploy to the presidential elections of February 2, 2014.
In addition, the two talked about the “violence-free municipalities” initiative, supported by the hemispheric Organization, which has significantly reduced the levels of crime in the country.
