OAS Secretary General Signed Book of Condolences at the French Embassy

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, today signed the book of condolences opened by the French Embassy in United States over the recent terrorist attack in Paris.

The Secretary General was accompanied by the Permanent Observer of France to the OAS, Jean-Claude Nolla, who thanked the OAS leader for his presence and support.

The leader of the hemispheric institution condemned last week´s attack, which, he said “threatened freedom of the press and freedom of expression.”
