OAS Secretary General Participates in World Strategic Forum in Miami

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, today participated in a conversation about the future of the Americas, together with former President of the Dominican Republic Leonel Fernández, in the framework of the World Strategic Forum, taking place today and tomorrow in Miami.

In his address, the OAS leader analyzed the recently concluded Seventh Summit of the Americas in Panama, as well as the CEO Summit of the Americas and the Forum of Civil Society and Social Actors. In addition, he presented his vision on the perspectives for the future of the region.

The Conversation was moderated by Andrés Rozental, Founding President of the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations, and included the participation of Gil Remillard, Founding President of the International Economic Forum of the Americas.
