Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS HOSTS INTER-AMERICAN DEVELOPMENT FORUM ON WEDNESDAY

An Inter-American Development Forum will be held at the Organization of American States (OAS) headquarters on Wednesday, April 12, bringing together the heads of regional financial institutions to discuss the hemispheric development agenda as well as the strategic development plans of the institutions.
The joint meeting of the OAS Permanent Council and the Permanent Executive Committee of the Inter-American Council for Integral Development (CEPCIDI) will also examine the hemisphere’s developmental needs, potential opportunities for growth and competitiveness, and areas for constructing concrete cross-regional collaboration.
Permanent Council Chairman Ambassador Ellsworth John of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and CEPCIDI Chairman Ambassador Gordon Shirley of Jamaica will inaugurate the forum, and OAS Secretary General José Miguel Insulza will address the meeting.
The main presenters will be: L. Enrique García, President of the Andean Development Corporation (CAF); Harry Brautigam, Executive President of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI); Compton Bourne, President of the Caribbean Development Bank; an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) representative; and Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace, General Secretary of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO).
OAS Assistant Secretary General Albert R. Ramdin will deliver the closing remarks at the forum, the proceedings of which will be Webcast live via the OAS Website (www.oas.org).
