OAS and Colombia Organize Dialogue on “Perspectives on Development in Latin America and the Caribbean”

The Organization of American States (OAS) and the Mission of Colombia to the OAS will co-organize a dialogue on “Perspectives on Development in Latin America and the Caribbean” on Friday, July 22 at the headquarters of the hemispheric institution in Washington DC.

The Secretary General of the OAS, Luis Almagro, and the President of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Luis Alberto Moreno, will be the main speakers at the event, which will be opened by the Secretary for Hemispheric Affairs of the OAS, James Lambert, and the Permanent Representative of Colombia to the OAS, Andrés González Díaz.

The dialogue takes place in the framework of the transfer of the presidency of the Inter-American Council for Integral Development of the OAS from Colombia to Costa Rica.
