Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.
Approximately six weeks after the end of each semester, the OAS publishes a Semiannual Management and Performance Report, which since 2013 includes reporting on programmatic results. The full texts may be found here.

The OAS has discussed for several years the real estate issue, the funding required for maintenance and repairs, as well as the deferred maintenance of its historic buildings. Unveiling of the Tall Torch of Liberty Sculpture by Greg Wyatt at the OAS Garden

The Organization of American States (OAS) will hold an unveiling ceremony of the Tall Torch of Liberty sculpture by renowned sculptor Greg Wyatt on Wednesday, September 4th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. on the grounds of the Main OAS Building in Washington DC.
The Tall Torch of Liberty is a donation from the Newington-Cropsey Foundation and Greg Wyatt, sculptor-in-residence of the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York City. The sculpture represents the hands of humanity struggling in bondage and dramatically breaking the shackles and chains of captivity expressing our given rights of peace and creativity. This donation also includes sculpture Unbound Slave and the circular walkway installation.
The ceremony will feature remarks by:

• The Permanent Representative of the United States to the OAS, Carlos Trujillo
• Greg Wyatt, sculptor
Wyatt's sculptures are on display at more than 20 public spaces in cities from Washington, D.C. to Beijing. A few of his notable works include the Peace Fountain at Cathedral of St. John the Divine, New York, NY; Baryshnikov at Brookgreen Gardens, Murells Inlet, SC; Two Sculptors at Georgetown University Medical Center, Washington, D.C.; The Price of Freedom at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, D.C.; and Bathsheba at the Piazza San Agostino, Arezzo, Italy, among many others.
