OAS Permanent Council to Celebrate Day for Access to Information and Continue with Preparations for the General Assembly

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, September 28 at 14:30 EDT (18:30 GMT) in the Hall of the Americas at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., to celebrate “International Day for Universal Access to Information,” and to continue with the preparations for the fifty-second regular session of the OAS General Assembly of the OAS to be held in Peru from October 5-7.

The meeting will be broadcast live - with interpretation in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese- on the OAS Website and the OAS Facebook page

Representatives of the media interested in attending the meeting in person must wear a face mask, keep safe distance whenever possible, and present an identity document and COVID- 19 vaccination card. Due to restrictions due to the pandemic, access to the press will be limited and spaces will be occupied strictly by order of arrival.
