OAS Permanent Council to Receive the President of Chile, Vice President of Colombia and to Consider the Legacy of Joao Baena Soares

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold three meetings on Friday, September 22, in the Simon Bolivar room at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C.

At 09:00 EDT (13:00 GMT) the Permanent Council will hold a special meeting to receive the Vice President and Minister of Equality and Equity of Colombia, Francia Márquez.

Then, at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT) the Council will consider the Hemispheric legacy of the former Secretary General of the Organization of American States João Baena Soares.

Finally, at 16:45 EDT(20:45 GMT) the Council will hold a protocolary meeting to receive the President of Chile, Gabriel Boric.
