OAS Secretary General Visits Bolivia and will Meet with President Morales

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, today began an official visit to Bolivia, during which he will meet with the President of the country, Evo Morales, and attend the signing of two international legal instruments against all forms of discrimination.

The OAS leader will also meet with the Foreign Minister of Bolivia, David Choquehuanca, who will sign on behalf of his government the Inter-American Convention against All Forms of Discrimination and Intolerance and the Inter-American Convention against Racism, Racial Discrimination, and Related Forms of Intolerance.

During his stay in La Paz, Secretary General Insulza will meet with the President of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal of Bolivia, Wilma Velasco.
