Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Secretary General of the OAS Mourns Death of former President of the Peruvian Congress

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, today expressed his sadness upon the passing of the renowned public figure, academic, congressman and former President of the Peruvian Congress, Henry Pease García.
The OAS leader recalled that he met Henry Pease “more than forty years ago, when he began to take part in Peruvian politics from a very young age.” “He was an exceptional man, always faithful to his principles and willing to make any sacrifice for democracy in his country,” he added.
Insulza concluded his words by sending “to his family, to our many common friends, his companions of many years; to the Government, the Congress and the people of Peru, my heartfelt condolences for this painful loss.”
