Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Assistant Secretary General Met with the President of Panama

The Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Albert Ramdin, travelled to Panama to participate in the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Panama Canal, during a visit in which he met with the President of the country, Juan Carlos Varela, and the Vice President and Foreign Minister, Isabel Saint Malo de Alvarado.
During the meetings, Ambassador Ramdin spoke with the President and Vice President and Foreign Minister about preparations for the Summit of the Americas to be held in the country in April 2015.
Vice President and Foreign Minister Saint Malo requested the substantive accompaniment of the OAS in the processes of preparation for the next meeting of Heads of State of Government and the Business Leaders Meeting to be held in coordination with Panamanian private sector organizations.
During his visit to Panama, the senior OAS official also met with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country, José Luis Ford, with whom he discussed the activities carried out by that organization to ensure the inclusion of the contributions of the private sector for the meeting in 2015.
Assistant Secretary General Ramdin took part in the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Panama Canal, attended by international delegations and senior government representatives. As part of the activities, participants visited the project of the expansion of the Canal, which will allow for the passage of larger vessels and which is expected to be ready by December 2015.
