OAS and “Instituto de Empresa” to Offer 16 Scholarships for Master’s Degree Studies

  May 17, 2011

The Organization of American States (OAS), through its Department of Human Development, Education and Culture, and the “Instituto de Empresa” (IE) of Madrid, Spain, will support outstanding students from the Americas by offering 16 scholarships for various Master’s degree programs as part of the OAS Partnerships for Education and Training Program.

The scholarships will be offered for various Master’s degree programs in English and Spanish on subjects such as biotechnology management, international relations, legal counsel, and global environmental change. They are aimed at citizens or permanent residents of OAS Member States who are interested in contributing to their countries’ development upon finishing their studies.

The deadline for requesting admission to the program and applying for a scholarship is June 10, 2011. These scholarships will enable students not only to join a highly internationally renowned institution, but to obtain a reduction in the total cost of tuition up to 40 percent depending on the program of interest. More information on the OAS-IE program is available here.
