OAS Secretary General Participates in Fourth Ministerial Meeting “Pathways to Prosperity in the Americas”

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, today participated in the panel “New Opportunities for Development” in the Fourth Ministerial Meeting “Pathways to Prosperity in the Americas.”

Alongside the head of the hemispheric organization on the panel were the United States Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton; the Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), Alicia Bárcena; and the Vice President of the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), Steven J. Puig. The event was moderated by Juan Carlos López, of CNN en Español.

"Pathways to Prosperity" is a dialogue that links ministers of commerce and foreign affairs of the countries of the Hemisphere to promote inclusive growth, prosperity and social justice.
