Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.
Approximately six weeks after the end of each semester, the OAS publishes a Semiannual Management and Performance Report, which since 2013 includes reporting on programmatic results. The full texts may be found here.

The OAS has discussed for several years the real estate issue, the funding required for maintenance and repairs, as well as the deferred maintenance of its historic buildings. Since its first edition in 2011, the OAS-GCUB Scholarship Program has offered 3,887 scholarships for master’s and doctoral degree programs in over 52 participating universities. Selected students come from 28 countries of the Americas. For the ninth edition of the program, more than 500 scholarships will be offered.
Through these advanced educational opportunities, the OAS and the GCUB support the training, development and networking of high-level human resources that contribute to the progress of their countries and strengthen the bonds of cooperation with Brazil. This is made possible by promoting greater integration between Brazilian universities and Latin America and the Caribbean; thus promoting scientific and cultural exchange, internationalization and the mobilization of outstanding students from the Americas.
