Planning Meeting 2018-2020 of the Inter-American Conference of Ministers of Labor (IACML) of the OAS

Date: April 26 and 27, 2018

Venue: Gabriela Mistral Room, OAS Headquarters - 1889 F Street, NW, Washington, DC

Participants: Ministries of Labor that lead the IACML (Chair: Barbados, former Chair: Mexico) Chairs and Vice-chairs of the Working Groups: Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Costa Rica and Canada, COSATE, CEATAL and key International organizations.

Objectives:

1.  To determine the IACML Work Plan for 2018-2020, that will ensure the implementation of the Declaration and Plan of Action of Bridgetown, adopted at the XX IACML.

2.  To define responsibilities and financial or in-kind contributions, and ensure the coordination among the main actors of the IACML process (Ministries, COSATE, CEATAL and key International organizations).

3.  To review the financial situation of the Inter-American Network for Labor Administration (RIAL) and decide on the use of contributions received to date.
