Recent Suspensions of Guarantees regarding Multilateral Treaties

On December 13, 2017, the General Secretariat received two Executive Decrees from the Permanent Mission of Honduras to the OAS, in accordance with article 27, paragraph 3 of the American Convention on Human Rights, PCM-088-2017 issued on December 7, 2017 and PCM-090-2017 issued on December 8, 2017.

On December 2, 2017, the General Secretariat received a note verbale on the suspension of guaranties from the Permanent Mission of Honduras to the OAS, in accordance with article 27, paragraph 3 of the American Convention on Human Rights, note No 098/MHOEA/2017.

On August 4, 2017, the General Secretariat received two notes verbales on the suspension of guaranties from the Permanent Mission of Peru to the OAS, in accordance with article 27, paragraph 3 of the American Convention on Human Rights, Note No. 7-5-M/165 and No. 7-5-M/167.

On July 27, 2017, the General Secretariat received two notes verbales on the suspension of guaranties from the Presidency of the Republic of Ecuador to the OAS, in accordance with article 27, paragraph 3 of the American Convention on Human Rights, Note No.T.02-SGJ-17-0162 and No.T.02-SGJ-17-0163.

On July 18, 2017, the General Secretariat received a note verbale on the suspension of guaranties from the Permanent Mission of Guatemala to the OAS, in accordance with article 27, paragraph 3 of the American Convention on Human Rights, Note No. NV-M12-352-2017.

On June 27, 2017, the General Secretariat received a note verbale on the suspension of guaranties from the Permanent Mission of Peru to the OAS, in accordance with article 27, paragraph 3 of the American Convention on Human Rights, Note No. 7-5-M/137.

On June 21, 2017, the General Secretariat received two notes verbales on the suspension of guaranties from the Permanent Mission of Peru to the OAS, in accordance with article 27, paragraph 3 of the American Convention on Human Rights, Notes Nos. No. 7-5-M/133 y No. 7-5-M/135.

On June 19, 2017, the General Secretariat received a note verbale on the suspension of guaranties from the Permanent Mission of Guatemala to the OAS, in accordance with article 27, paragraph 3 of the American Convention on Human Rights, Note No. DH 360-000-414-17.

On May 18, 2017, the General Secretariat received a note verbale on the suspension of guaranties from the Permanent Mission of Guatemala to the OAS, in accordance with article 27, paragraph 3 of the American Convention on Human Rights, Note No.NV-M12-240-2017.

On March 15, 2017, the General Secretariat received a note verbale on the suspension of guaranties from the Permanent Mission of Peru to the OAS, in accordance with article 27, paragraph 3 of the American Convention on Human Rights, Note No.7-5-M/052.

On February 16, 2017, the General Secretariat received a note verbale on the suspension of guaranties from the Permanent Mission of Peru to the OAS, in accordance with article 27, paragraph 3 of the American Convention on Human Rights, Note No.7-5-M/019.

On January 23, 2017, the General Secretariat received two notes verbales on the suspension of guaranties from the Permanent Mission of Ecuador to the OAS, in accordance with article 27, paragraph 3 of the American Convention on Human Rights, Notes Nos. No.4-1-9-2017 y No.4-1-11-2017.

On January 12, 2017, the General Secretariat received a note verbale on the suspension of guaranties from the Permanent Mission of Ecuador to the OAS, in accordance with article 27, paragraph 3 of the American Convention on Human Rights, Note No.4-2-1-2017.
