The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) decided to lift these precautionary measures as the situation and whereabouts of Facundo José Astudillo Castro have been identified. In this regard, the Commission regrets the death of young Facundo José Astudillo Castro and in view of the change of circumstances, considers that the measures have been rendered moot, given that the requirements of Article 25 of the Rules of Procedure are longer met.
