EXPRESSION OF GRATITUDE TO THE GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE OF THE ARGENTINE REPUBLIC

THE SECOND INTER-AMERICAN SPECIALIZED CONFERENCE ON TERRORISM,

RESOLVES:

1. To express its most sincere gratitude to the Government and people of the Argentine Republic for their excellent work, which ensured the success of the deliberations of the Conference and for the many kindnesses and courtesies extended and the facilities provided to the delegations and to the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States.

2. To express its special thanks to the Argentine personnel who worked in the Conference for their cooperation.

RESOLVES:

To congratulate His Excellency Carlos Corach, Minister of the Interior of the Argentine Republic, Chair of the Second Inter-American Specialized Conference on Terrorism, for his efficiency and skill in presiding over the proceedings of the Conference.

OF THE OAS PERMANENT COUNCIL

THE SECOND INTER-AMERICAN SPECIALIZED CONFERENCE ON TERRORISM

RESOLVES:

To express appreciation to Dr. Julio C�sar Ar�oz, the distinguished Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Argentine Republic to the Organization of American States, for his work during the preparatory phase of the Conference as Chair of the Working Group on Terrorism of the Committee on Juridical and Political Affairs of the OAS Permanent Council and for his role in organizing and holding the Conference.
