Michelle-Ann Williams joined the Department of Sustainable Development (DSD)
in June 2007. Her focus is Trade and Environmental Law. Since joining the
organization Ms. Williams has been working on a project pertaining to the
Sound Management of Chemicals in the Caribbean; and she has been assisting
in the development of a toolkit on Trade and Environmental law and policy.
Ms.
Williams is a Jamaican attorney who obtained her law degree (LLB) from the
University of the West Indies in 2003 and her Legal Education Certificate (LEC)
from the Norman Manley Law School in Kingston, Jamaica, in 2005. She was
admitted to the Jamaican Bar in 2005, and in 2007, obtained a Masters degree
in International and Comparative Law (LLM) from the George Washington
University Law School, in Washington DC. |
