OFFICE OF THE SPECIAL RAPPORTEUR FOR FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION RECEIVES FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION FROM
Washington, D.C., October 15, 2007 – The Office of the Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Expression of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) of the OAS expresses its gratitude for the voluntary contribution of $200,000 provided by the Government of the United States of America to support the activities of the Office of the Special Rapporteur in promoting and defending the right to freedom of expression.
