Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Experts to Discuss at the OAS Exclusion, Equality, Rights and Citizen Participation in Latin America

The Organization of American States (OAS) will organize on Thursday May 5, 2016 the Roundtable "From Exclusion to Equality in Latin America? More rights for more people with citizen participation", featuring presentations by independent experts and representatives of governments and private entities of the region.
The event will include welcoming remarks by the OAS Secretary General, Luis Almagro, followed by presentations from Laura Pautassi, Independent Expert and President of the Working Group for the Analysis of the National Reports foreseen in the Protocol of San Salvador; Sabine Donner, Project Director at the Bertelsmann Foundation’s Transformation Index (BTI); and Robert Schwarz, Project Manager at BTI.
The presentations will be followed by a discussion moderated by Pablo Collada, Executive Director of the Fundación Ciudadano Inteligente, with the participation of Antonio Prado, Deputy Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean; Ideli Salvatti, OAS Secretary for Access to Rights and Equity and Ambassador James Lambert, OAS Secretary for Hemispheric Affairs.
