OAS Permanent Council to Receive the President of Uruguay

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS ) will hold a protocolary meeting tomorrow, Thursday May 15, 2014, at 12:00 EDT (16:00 GMT) in the Hall of the Americas at the headquarters of the Organization in Washington DC, to receive the President of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, José Mujica.

The meeting will be broadcast live on the OAS Website.

Media wishing to cover the meeting should RSVP to [email protected], detailing full name and media.

For security reasons, the press must enter the building through the main entrance of the OAS building (17th & Constitution Ave NW, Washington, DC 20006) from 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT) to 11: 00 EDT (15:00 GMT). Workplaces for the media will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Before the meeting, OAS Secretary General, José Miguel Insulza, will receive President Mujica in his office.
