Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.
Approximately six weeks after the end of each semester, the OAS publishes a Semiannual Management and Performance Report, which since 2013 includes reporting on programmatic results. The full texts may be found here.

The OAS has discussed for several years the real estate issue, the funding required for maintenance and repairs, as well as the deferred maintenance of its historic buildings. Elections to be held during the 53rd OAS General Assembly
June 21, 2023
During the fifty-third regular session of the General Assembly, which takes place June 21-23 at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., elections will be held for members of various organs, agencies and entities of the inter-American system. Those elected will take office on January 1, 2024.
The organs for which members will be elected are the following:
- Four members of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
- Two members of the Inter-American Juridical Committee
- One member of the Administrative Tribunal
- One member of the Audit Committee
- Three members of the Justice Studies Center of the Americas.
These elections are the second item on the agenda of the fourth plenary session, scheduled to take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23.
