OAS Permanent Council to Commemorate International Day and Week of the World’s Indigenous Peoples

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a special meeting on Monday, August 12th at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT) (originally programmed for Friday 9th) in the Simon Bolivar room at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., to commemorate the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples and the Seventh Inter-American Week for Indigenous Peoples.

The meeting will be broadcast live - with interpretation in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese- on the OAS Website and the OAS Facebook page.
