OEA Conducts Support Workshops for Small Hotels in the Andean Region

The Organization of American States (OAS), through its Small Tourism Enterprises Program (STEP), will hold a series of workshops in the Andean Region from Wednesday, April 28, to Monday, May 3.
The OAS Program of Technical Assistance to Small Hotels (PAPH) is directed to establishments in Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador y Perú. The workshops will be held this time in Guayaquil and Quito, Ecuador; Bogotá, Colombia; and Pucón and Villarica, Chile.
The PAPH seeks to contribute to the sustainability and competitiveness of small hotels in the Andean Region, as well as to promote the many destinations in the region through technical assistance programs and the adaptation of successful models from the Caribbean and Central America.
The implementation of the PAPH in the Andean region will contribute to the professionalization of the tourism sector through the implementation of an integral model in administration and management, marketing, human resources development, technological design and other areas.
