OAS Permanent Council Commemorates International Day and Sixth Inter-American Week of Indigenous Peoples

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, August 9 at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT) in the Simón Bolívar Room at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., to commemorate the International Day of Indigenous Peoples and the Sixth Inter-American Week for Indigenous Peoples under the theme: "Indigenous Youth as Agents of Change for Self-determination in the Americas: Intergenerational Connections."
