OAS Permanent Council to Hold Dialogue with Civil Society on the Inter-American Human Rights System

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold two special meetings on Friday, December 7, 2012, at 10:00 EST (15:30 GMT) and 14:30 EST (19:30 GMT) in the Hall of the Americas at the headquarters of the organization in Washington, DC, to hold a dialogue with civil society organizations and other actors and users of the system about the proposals received for implementing the recommendations contained in the Report of the Special Working Group to Reflect on the Workings of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights with a View to Strengthening the Inter-American Human Rights System”.
