Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Chief of the Electoral Observation Mission of the Organization of American States in Bolivia Begins Preliminary visit

The Chief of the Electoral Observation Mission of the Organization of American States (OAS/EOM) in Bolivia, former President of the Dominican Republic Leonel Fernández, will begin tomorrow observation of the organization of the Constitutional Referendum to be held in the country on February 21st.
While in La Paz, the Chief of Mission will hold meetings with President Evo Morales, the members of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal, and members of political organizations supporting the different options in this referendum.
The Mission will be made up of international experts and observers who will be deployed in the nine departments of the country. In this context, a group of specialists will conduct a substantive analysis of the process in terms of electoral organization, political analysis, media and equity in direct democracy mechanisms.
