OAS and Rochester Institute of Technology Offer Scholarships for Master’s Degree Studies

The Organization of American States (OAS), through its Partnerships for Education and Training Program, and the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) are offering partial tuition scholarships to study Master’s Degree programs to qualified citizens or permanent residents of OAS Member States to further their education.
Top selected candidates in selected programs will receive an 80% tuition scholarship, while remaining candidates will be granted a 50% scholarship. Citizens or permanent residents of the host country, in this case the United States, are not eligible for scholarships. Staff members of the OAS General Secretariat are not eligible, nor are those under performance contracts with the General Secretariat, staff members of the Permanent Missions to the OAS, or their relatives.
The programs will be taught in English and are set to begin in September. Classes will be taught online, through RIT´s virtual platform. Duration of the Master’s Degree programs is between one and two years, and programs are offered in Human Resources Development, Networking and Systems Administration, Service Leadership and Innovation, Environmental, Health and Safety Management, Health Systems Administration, Manufacturing Leadership, Telecommunications Engineering Technology and Professional Studies, Facility Management, Human-Computer Interaction, Applied Statistics and Imaging Science.
Deadline for admission to Rochester Institute of Technology is July 15th, 2012 and the deadline to apply for the OAS-RIT scholarship is August 1st, 2012.
