MC 269-10 - Manuel Junior Cortéz Gómez and Yolanda Gómez Torres , Colombie
The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) decides to lift these precautionary measures in favor of Manuel Junior Cortéz Gómez and Yolanda Gómez Torres in Colombia. At the time of making the decision, the Commission assessed the actions taken by the State to implement these measures and that the factual circumstances analyzed in 2012 have significantly changed. In this matter, the State has requested the lifting of these precautionary measures since 2014, and has reiterated such a request over time, having adopted the corresponding measures in favor of the beneficiaries. In this sense, upon assessing the procedural requirements, the Commission understands that these are no longer met.
