The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) decides to lift these precautionary measures in favor of Daniel Ernesto Prado Albarracín. The Commission evaluated the actions taken by the State during the time the measures were in force. Despite several requests for information, the representation has not provided a substantial response since the precautionary measures were granted in 2017. Upon being notified that an assessment was to be carried out to determine whether the risk persisted, the representation did not reply. Consequently, upon not identifying compliance with the procedural requirements, the IACHR has decided to lift these precautionary measures.
