Under the overall framework of the Alternatives to Incarceration Initiative, the Executive Secretariat of the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (ES-CICAD) organizes virtual events to raise awareness and stimulate discussion on programs supporting recovery and social integration of justice-involved individuals with substance use disorders. This webinar on re-entry presents good practices in OAS member states and shows successful multi-sector collaboration among justice, health, and social services on pre and post-release programs for individuals leaving detention and returning to their communities.
