Within the framework of the project Strengthening Therapeutic Communities and Treatment Centers in Latin America and the Caribbean with Italian Support (FOCTALI), the Institutional Strengthening Unit of the Executive Secretariat of the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (ES-CICAD), with support from the Italian government, is conducting a training workshop on Monitoring and Evaluation for Social Integration Programs.

The workshop is aimed at professionals from Drug Councils, Ministries of Justice/ National Security, Ministries of Health, Ministries of Social Services and civil society organizations working in the design and implementation of social integration programs. It addresses topics including types of evaluation, impact and outcome evaluation, social return on investment, and the creation and adaptation of indicators for measuring social integration programs. The workshop seeks to increase understanding of the subject and develop skills in monitoring and evaluation. Concrete examples and tools are provided for application in the areas of work.
