The Inter-American Program for Judicial Facilitators, in coordination with the Supreme Court of Justice of El Salvador, organized the celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the implementation of the National Judicial Facilitators Service in the country.

The event was attended by the President of the Supreme Court of Justice, Mr. Óscar Alberto López Jerez, the Magistrate of the Constitutional Chamber and Coordinator of the Monitoring Commission of the National Judicial Facilitators Service, Elsy Dueñas Lovos,  the Head of the Coordinating Unit of the National Judicial Facilitators Service, Mr. Benjamín Chicas Guevara, the Ambassador of Italy in El Salvador, Edoardo Pucci, the General Coordinator of the Inter-American Program for Judicial Facilitators, Dr. Juan Carlos Roncal, diplomatic corps, authorities, and other justice operators.

This commemoration celebrates a decade of impact and progress in the implementation of the Service in El Salvador, marking a milestone in the strengthening of access to justice and conflict resolution in the country's communities.

From the IPJF/OAS, we recognize and appreciate the dedication and effort of the Supreme Court of Justice, the Coordinating Unit of the Judicial Facilitators Service, the invaluable support of the Government of Italy, but especially the over 600 judicial facilitators and the over 70 Judges. All this coordination has been fundamental to conquering these achievements and keep moving forward in the modernization and continuous improvement of the justice system in El Salvador.
