The Inter-American Juridical Committee (ICJ) will hold its 105th regular session in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from August 7-16, 2024.

The purpose of the CJI is to serve as an advisory body to the Organization on legal matters; promote the progressive development and codification of international law, and study the legal problems relating to the integration of the developing countries of the Continent and the possibility of standardizing their legislation as soon as it seems convenient.

The Department of International Law (DIL) serves as the Technical Secretariat of the ICJ.
