First High-Level Dialogue OAS - CAF on Transnational Organized Crime

The First High-Level Dialogue on the fight against organized crime in the Americas will be held as a parallel event within the framework of the 54th OAS General Assembly in Paraguay.

This meeting will bring together prominent national and international actors to address the challenges of collaboration and coordination in the face of the growing threat of Transnational Organized Crime.

Under the motto "How we organize ourselves to confront organized crime", experts will share strategies to combat the expansion of this phenomenon that operates with violence in increasingly diversified illegal markets.


Organized by the Department against Transnational Organized Crime (DDOT) of the OAS Secretariat for Multidimensional Security together with the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), with the support of the Government of Paraguay through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Interior .


This key event seeks to strengthen the regional response to organized crime, generating a space for dialogue and cooperation between actors committed to security in the region.
