During the 54th General Assembly of the OAS in Asunción, Paraguay, The Trust for the Americas will host a high-level side event in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Paraguay and the Paraguayan Chamber of Electronic Commerce (CAPACE). This event, "Unleashing potential: Multisector Partnerships in the Digital Age," will explore how technology and education can drive social and economic inclusion, in line with the OAS’s vision for regional development.

Attendees will hear from influential leaders, including Ambassador Néstor Méndez, OAS Assistant Secretary General; Javier Giménez, Paraguay’s Minister of Industry and Commerce; Gustavo Giménez, Vice Minister of MIPYMES; and Kim Meredith, CEO of the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation. These experts will share insights on replicating successful models of collaboration across other OAS Member States to boost economic empowerment.

This event highlights the transformative power of public-private partnerships, showcasing how The Trust’s 360 centers across 22 Member States, are making a tangible difference. By providing a platform for impactful dialogue and exchange, we aim to demonstrate how multisector collaboration can drive sustainable development and reshape the digital economic landscape of the region.
