This regional workshop is aimed at judges and prosecutors from Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru and Suriname and has the objective of analyzing the legal frameworks to combat illegal mining in the region, the capacities for the use of special investigation techniques and the tools for criminal prosecution of illegal mining with special emphasis on the legal frameworks of the countries participating in the project.
