The Voluntary Group for the Follow-up on the Inter-American Democratic Charter meets for its seventh meeting, part of its monthly gathering to carry out the objectives set forth by the Voluntary Group in their Work Plan. 

This seventh meeting is hosting discussions to discuss various items on the Voluntary Group’s agenda, including reviewing their side event during the General Assembly last June and engagement on the Inter-American Social Protection Network (IASPN) and its potential synergies with the group’s work, discussion on certain mandates within the AG/RES.3029 (LIV-O/24) STRENGTHENING DEMOCRACY, ideas for future activities to celebrate the anniversary of the IADC and International Day of Democracy, followed lastly by the election of a new Chair and Vice Chair for the Voluntary Group.
