The Inter-American Juridical Committee (ICJ) will hold its 104th regular session in Panama City from March 11 to 15, 2024, based on an invitation from the Government of Panama.
The purpose of the CJI is to serve as an advisory body to the Organization on legal matters; promote the progressive development and codification of international law, and study the legal problems relating to the integration of the developing countries of the Continent and the possibility of standardizing their legislation as soon as it seems convenient.
The Department of International Law (DIL) serves as the Technical Secretariat of the ICJ.
