Event in the context of the 54th. OAS General Assembly.

The Voluntary Group currently includes Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Grenada, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, United States, Uruguay and Uruguay, and was created pursuant to resolution AG/RES. 3004 (LIII-O/23) with the objective of promoting dialogue, horizontal cooperation and the exchange of best practices among OAS Member States. Its objective is also to seek opportunities within the framework of the principles of the Charter of the Organization of American States and the Inter-American Democratic Charter for the members of the Group to strengthen their democracies.
