Study visit by authorities from the state of Nuevo León to the Alternative Justice Center of the state of Baja California Sur

From March 19 to March 22, CICAD's Institutional Strengthening Unit organized a visit to the State of Baja California Sur with personnel from the State of Nuevo León to identify the procedures used in Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms for the implementation of the Therapeutic Justice Program.

Objective of the visit:

Observe and identify the procedures used in the Specialized Body for Alternative Mechanisms for the Resolution of Disputes in Criminal Matters of the State of Baja California Sur (OEMASC in Spanish) for the implementation of the Therapeutic Justice Program (PJT in Spanish) in the form of a reparatory agreement, and receive technical assistance to explore the feasibility of implementing the PJT through this legal figure in the state of Nuevo León.
