OAS-Haiti sign agreement to hold the 2014 Meeting of Ministers of Culture. The Government of Haiti signed an agreement with the organization to host the VI Inter-American Meeting of Ministers of Culture and Highest Appropriate Authorities on August 12 and 13, 2014. » Read more

OAS - Partnerships Program for Education and Training (PAEC) continues to grow. Florida International University (FIU) and the SUAGM (Ana G. Méndez University System of Puerto Rico) signed agreements under the PAEC, enabling the OAS to offer additional scholarships for academic studies. » Read more

OAS-Barbados sign agreement to hold the 2014 Meeting of Ministers of Tourism. The Government of Barbados signed an agreement with the organization to host the XXII Inter-American Congress of Ministers and High-Level Authorities of Tourism on September 3 and 4 in Bridgetown. » Read more

OAS-Mexico Announce 2014 Scholarship Recipients. The OAS, the National Council on Science and Technology of Mexico (CONACYT) and the Mexican Agency for International Cooperation and Development (AMEXCID) announced the names of the recipients of 58 scholarships in Science and Technology for doctoral, Master’s, and specialized studies in Mexico. » Read more
