Hemispheric Workshop on the Security of Major Events and Tourist Destinations

“Hemispheric Workshop on the Security of Major Events and Tourist Destinations” will be held in Bogotá, Colombia from July 4 to 6, 2023. The Workshop is organized by the Secretariat of the Inter-American Committee against Terrorism, in collaboration with the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) and funded by the Government of Canada. Each eligible OAS Member State may be represented by two officials:

 

1.       One official responsible for the protection of tourist destinations of the Tourist Office, Ministry of Tourism or Tourist Police.

2.     One Focal Point to the Security Network of Major Events.
